Gouvia Corfu
The coastal village of Gouvia is a great base to discover all the beauties of our island, just 10 minutes drive or 8 km from Corfu Town. Gouvia village is very closed to the touristic Dassia, Ypsos and the east coastline with the clear turquoise organized beaches. Gouvia village has many bars for entertainment, local restaurants, souvenir stores, restaurants, big supermarkets and other signs of modern holiday destinations. The Gouvia area has got a very nice, long beach easy to reach by foot from our holiday accommodation. Along the beach you will find all kinds of watersports and boat rentals. In Gouvia is set the famous Marina with the expensive yachts, lovely cafes and restaurants and the magical view to the hillside of Komeno, a lovely peninsula with many villas and the graphic Church of the Hypapante in the sea.
